Description
The McDonald-Ewing Stage Company which ran from Boulder, Colorado to Laramie, Wyoming has been forced to shut down due to the competition from the railroad. On its last trip, the coach is full of passengers from different walks of life; it is up to the experienced teamster, Jonas Jones, and the messenger, Jude Stone to make sure that they make it to Laramie. Known to them is that a renegade Arapahoe, Black Heart and his band, have moved off the reservation ignoring the words of Little Raven and Niwot. Unknown to them are the backgrounds of the passengers: a wife returning to her preacher husband, a mother and child running away from an abusive situation, a disgruntled miner with a shady past, and a newlywed couple heading to Medicine Bow
