Description
After they broke the siege of the Six Villages at Kylee's command, the ghost eagles have begun a new siege against all of humanity: The villagers and their former Kartami foes huddle together beneath makeshift netting of what was once the Six Villages, while the Sky Castle shuts itself in, terrified by the attacks from above. Kylee and Brysen are also plagued by the ghost eagles' nightly screeching, though their dark dreams appear to be messages from the birds themselves. Kylee uses the dreams to uncover the birds' weaknesses. Killing them all is the only way to break their cycle of endless terror. But Brysen's heart yearns to heal the world's wounds once and for all, no matter the cost. When the siblings uncover a mysterious egg, they'll have to bare their darkest selves to piece together the ghost eagles' visions and find the way forward--Dust jacket.
