Description
Art Williams was a precocious student with a bright future, until his father abandoned the family, his bipolar mother lost her wits, and they wound up living in one of Chicago's worst housing projects. Forced to provide for his family, at age twelve Williams robbed parking meters and later, drug dealers. His quests for a father figure and a stable income merged when, at sixteen, a criminal master called "Da Vinci" taught him the art of counterfeiting.
