Paris Gibson, having moved to Austin, Texas to escape past mistakes, is forced out of her life of self-imposed solitude when a listener to her late-night radio show calls to inform her that he has abducted and plans to kill his ex-girlfriend, a woman he claims left him on Paris's advice, and that Paris will be his second victim.
