Description
Ali Reynolds's friend and fellow police officer Jose Reyes is shot down and left for dead. At first, officers suspect that he was caught in the crossfire in the local drug wars, but evidence starts to suggest that he may have been working with the criminals. As Ali investigates the case, she finds an unlikely ally in Sister Anselm, a patient advocate who works with border crossers. Together, the two work to fight the local drug cartels and discover the truth behind Reyes's shooting.
